An unexpectedly hard shot by Nando Lara in the 18th minute of play forced C.A. RIBEIRÃO's goalkeeper Shi Yong Xiang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esbjörn Löfkvist was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 22 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Wolves FC - DMZ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! Guillen Aguillar had in the 24thth minute some difficulties stopping Aberama Gold's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The excitement rose when C.A. RIBEIRÃO's Aberama Gold after 24 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Wolves FC - DMZ's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 1-1. Ronaldo Joinvilense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shi Yong Xiang having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Wolves FC - DMZ's Ronaldo Joinvilense got a free kick in the 31st minute. Shi Yong Xiang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Löhr, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 38 minutes into the game, Aberama Gold recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Guillen Aguillar. Ronaldo Joinvilense scored 2-2 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Shi Yong Xiang, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 45 minutes into the game, Bebeto Félix was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A. RIBEIRÃO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wolves FC - DMZ the free kick. Bebeto Félix kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Shi Yong Xiang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Joinvilense in the 47th minute of the match.
The wind increased when Oséas Gomes made the kick off in the second half. Guillen Aguillar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of C.A. RIBEIRÃO booed when Wolves FC - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldir Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. C.A.
