The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vânderson Koehler kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 7th match minute, Galo do Cerrado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Branco to maneuver through the defense. When Alexsandro Aguiar fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Buritama Sports's protests and gave Alexsandro Aguiar a yellow card for diving instead. After 13 played minutes Buritama Sports got a freekick which was hit by Alexsandro Aguiar. Galo do Cerrado's Vicente Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wang Wei Sha in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to Buritama Sports getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Nuno Fonseca hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Buritama Sports's Abelardo da Fonseca dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Vicente Barbosa was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Abelardo da Fonseca capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Abelardo da Fonseca really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Vicente Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo da Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Wang Wei Sha kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vicente Barbosa. That made the score 3-0 in the 27 minute of play. Abelardo da Fonseca took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vicente Barbosa. Vicente Barbosa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Galo do Cerrado's Vicente Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo da Fonseca in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Alexsandro Aguiar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vicente Barbosa was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Galo do Cerrado's Vicente Barbosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Galo do Cerrado from getting a goal against them. In the 38th minute, Vítor Leão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamin Branco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Murilo Ferreira. Buritama Sports's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Vicente Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wang Wei Sha in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Ricardo Dias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vicente Barbosa was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. When Marcos Nascimento fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galo do Cerrado's protests and gave Marcos Nascimento a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th minute, Marcos Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clóvis Sena to make the kick off. Galo do Cerrado's Vicente Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wang Wei Sha in the 52nd minute of play. Vicente Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vito Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Wang Wei Sha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vicente Barbosa was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. After 77 minutes of play, Buritama Sports's Doriva Souto made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vicente Barbosa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Buritama Sports's Amauri Peixoto was substituted for Alexsandro Aguiar. Vicente Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo da Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute, Wang Wei Sha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Buritama Sports fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 13-0. Vicente Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo da Fonseca in the 89th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Galo do Cerrado's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo da Fonseca came free, but Vicente Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vicente Barbosa came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Buritama Sports's Abelardo da Fonseca. But to his dismay, Abelardo da Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 14-0. Vicente Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wang Wei Sha in the 96th minute of the match.
