The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ramón Furtado to make the kick off. Dmytro Novak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zafran Chien-Kwan in the 54th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Catadão's zone, Ramón Furtado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jardel Reis came out of the goal and Ramón Furtado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ramón Furtado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Jardel Reis made a huge save. When Flamengo FSCMZ's Ramón Furtado in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
