Léo Leão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Deivid de Salles's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Catadão's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Chu Yun Lei in the 8th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Deivid de Salles in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Léo Leão saved Misericordia EC from getting behind. After 13 minutes Misericordia EC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Chu Yun Lei who took care of the corner kick. When Catadão's Deivid de Salles in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 24 played minutes Misericordia EC got a freekick which was hit by Mário Perez. In the 24th minute Chu Yun Lei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Misericordia EC's Léo Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deivid de Salles in the 28th minute of play. Mário Perez charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mário Perez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Misericordia EC:s Léo Leão showed great skill when he stopped Chu Yun Lei:s penalty. 33 minutes into the match, Catadão's goal looked a bit too open when Renan Meira came free, but Jardel Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Léo Leão was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Pedrão Mesquita. In the 37thth minute of the game Deivid de Salles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Misericordia EC's Léo Leão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, Catadão's Léo Leão threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Deivid de Salles, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 40th minute Chu Yun Lei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute Catadão were awarded a corner. Chu Yun Lei went to the cornerflag to take it. Léo Leão was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Deivid de Salles showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 46 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Deivid de Salles made the kick off in the second half. Misericordia EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Chu Yun Lei ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Misericordia EC's goalie and right to Zafran Chien-Kwan. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Misericordia EC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Deivid de Salles in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Léo Leão saved Misericordia EC from getting behind. 91 minutes into the match, Misericordia EC's goal looked a bit too open when Deivid de Salles came free, but Léo Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Júnior Garcia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jardel Reis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute Deivid de Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Catadão's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
