Galo do Cerrado's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 11th minute, Benjamin Branco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the last second Vicente Barbosa throw himself and got hold of the ball when Oséas Gomes in the 12thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oséas Gomes in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vicente Barbosa saved Galo do Cerrado from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruninho Arce in the 13th minute of play forced Galo do Cerrado's goalkeeper Vicente Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Alexandro Teijeiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vicente Barbosa. Alexandro Teijeiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. 23 minutes into the match, Galo do Cerrado's goal looked a bit too open when Aberama Gold came free, but Vicente Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruninho Arce took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vicente Barbosa. The Galo do Cerrado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vicente Barbosa should have stopped the shot. Vicente Barbosa made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Aberama Gold sent off a good shot on target. Bruninho Arce had several of the Galo do Cerrado's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 44 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 9-0 score and a disappointed Vicente Barbosa as he didn't even see the shot coming. Vicente Barbosa was a little too slow when Bruninho Arce got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 10-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oséas Gomes to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Bruninho Arce notched a goal, 11-0, to the right of Galo do Cerrado's Vicente Barbosa.
