In the 18th minute Augusto Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shi Yong Xiang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Scotland Titans's goal looked a bit too open when Oséas Gomes came free, but Juarês da Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Scotland Titans's Juarês da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aberama Gold in the 25th minute of play. But to his dismay, Oséas Gomes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Juarês da Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandro Teijeiro in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Jairo Alcântara reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Shi Yong Xiang. The goal made the score 3-1. Juarês da Silveira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Guilherme Guerra went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Shi Yong Xiang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doni Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. RIBEIRÃO's goalkeeper Shi Yong Xiang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, C.A. RIBEIRÃO's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Alcântara came free, but Shi Yong Xiang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Jairo Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Léo Magalhães hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute Bebeto Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juarês da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.A. RIBEIRÃO's Shi Yong Xiang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Alcântara in the 69th minute of play. When Scotland Titans's Doni Abreu in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A. Augusto Motta took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Shi Yong Xiang. Shi Yong Xiang dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. C.A. RIBEIRÃO's Shi Yong Xiang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Betão Botelho in the 83rd minute of play. Juarês da Silveira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Guilherme Guerra in the 87th minute. C.A. RIBEIRÃO's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
