Spectators: 7963 (Terracing: 5974, Seating: 1831, VIP seats: 158) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Deivid de Salles took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd match minute, Galo do Cerrado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beto dos Santos to maneuver through the defense. After 6 played minutes Catadão got a freekick which was hit by Hernani Pires. If Chu Yun Lei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Galo do Cerrado's Noel Lima got a free kick in the 17th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Galo do Cerrado's goal looked a bit too open when Deivid de Salles came free, but Vicente Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vicente Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zafran Chien-Kwan in the 23rd minute of play. Vicente Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 25th minute, Severino Novaes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Catadão's Deivid de Salles in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Galo do Cerrado's goalie prevented a goal. Deivid de Salles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute Chu Yun Lei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Beto dos Santos made a kick off. Vicente Barbosa was a little too slow when Chu Yun Lei got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-1. Vicente Barbosa made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Jeremias Andrade sent off a good shot on target. Jeremias Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Vicente Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Beto dos Santos made a precise shot to the right of Jardel Reis. Catadão's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Jeremias Andrade who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Vicente Barbosa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 72nd minute, Kléberson Xavier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Vicente Barbosa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of Galo do Cerrado:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Catadão:s goal. The goalkeeper, Vicente Barbosa, was totally fooled by Catadão's Chu Yun Lei, who 94 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Kléberson Xavier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Galo do Cerrado fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Catadão were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
