The Catadão fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Catadão's Jeremias Andrade looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. In the 11th minute Jeremias Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 11 minutes, Deivid de Salles made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's Lino Fernandes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 17 minutes into the match, Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Deivid de Salles came free, but Lino Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 played minutes Magnifico FC - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Erik Rosado. Lino Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deivid de Salles in the 23rd minute of play. In the 27th minute Zafran Chien-Kwan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Deivid de Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lino Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Andrade in the 31st minute of the match. Zafran Chien-Kwan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Fernandes having to interfere. Zafran Chien-Kwan took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lino Fernandes. Lino Fernandes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 43 minutes into the match, Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Andrade came free, but Lino Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lino Fernandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chu Yun Lei, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Deivid de Salles to make the kick off. Chu Yun Lei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kléber Magalhães hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. When Chu Yun Lei came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Catadão fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chu Yun Lei couldn't finish the play. Lino Fernandes was a little too slow when Deivid de Salles got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 0-6. Deivid de Salles received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lino Fernandes came out and tried to block the shot, but Deivid de Salles slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 60th minute. After 63 minutes of play, Catadão's Jeremias Andrade made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lino Fernandes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lino Fernandes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Chu Yun Lei showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 67 minute of play. Lino Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deivid de Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Pedrão Mesquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
