An unexpectedly hard shot by Horácio Maciel in the 3rd minute of play forced Vertiplano FC's goalkeeper Iuri Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horácio Maciel took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iuri Silva. Iuri Silva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 7th minute, Alessandro Prado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vertiplano FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. With an all-out effort, Vertiplano FC's Donato Souza threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edmílson Montenegro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 11 minutes into the match, Renascer's goal looked a bit too open when Edmílson Montenegro came free, but Donato Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chris Hudson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Donato Souza made a huge save. Donato Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Hudson, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Hudson in the 20th minute of play forced Renascer's goalkeeper Donato Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donato Souza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmílson Montenegro in the 21st minute. Donato Souza came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Vertiplano FC's Chris Hudson. But to his dismay, Chris Hudson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Renascer's Donato Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmílson Montenegro in the 25th minute of play. With a little luck, Renascer's Donato Souza got control of the ball when Alessandro Prado tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmílson Montenegro in the 39th minute of play forced Renascer's goalkeeper Donato Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Vertiplano FC's Elenko Kabov got a free kick in the 41st minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Horácio Maciel to strike the kick off in the second half. Renascer's Donato Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Hudson in the 51st minute of play. Horácio Maciels short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Iuri Silva to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Edmílson Montenegro hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paz Munaya during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 62nd minute, Paz Munaya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 65 played minutes Vertiplano FC got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Pinheiro. 66 minutes into the match, Vertiplano FC's goalkeeper Iuri Silva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luisão Favoretto. 68 minutes into the match, Vertiplano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Horácio Maciel came free, but Iuri Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Renascer's Donato Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Hudson in the 71st minute of play. Iuri Silva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jano Marinho in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Hudson in the 73rd minute of play forced Renascer's goalkeeper Donato Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the last second Iuri Silva throw himself and got hold of the ball when Horácio Maciel in the 76thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmílson Montenegro in the 84th minute of play forced Renascer's goalkeeper Donato Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donato Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessandro Prado in the 90th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Alessandro Prado made a precise shot to the right of Donato Souza. Renascer's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Vertiplano FC made a substitution. Terry Mayfield replaced Alessandro Prado. Vertiplano FC's Murilo Arantes was substituted for Marian Gârneț. A collision led to Vertiplano FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Murilo Arantes hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Horácio Maciel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Renascer's supporters rose to their feet, but Horácio Maciel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iuri Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Vertiplano FC had played much better football throughout.
