Master Champion BMX Flat's Nicolae Ceaușescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Prado in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of Vertiplano FC booed when Master Champion BMX Flat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmund Watarz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Vertiplano FC's zone, Tobiasz Rostow stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iuri Silva came out of the goal and Tobiasz Rostow tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicolae Ceaușescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmílson Montenegro in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobiasz Rostow in the 32nd minute of play forced Vertiplano FC's goalkeeper Iuri Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Vertiplano FC's Nicolae Ceaușescu threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edmílson Montenegro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Master Champion BMX Flat's 张鹰然 got a free kick in the 47th minute. In the 48th minute of the match Chris Hudson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicolae Ceaușescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Iuri Silva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tobiasz Rostow went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Master Champion BMX Flat eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
