Spectators: 8023 (Terracing: 6019, Seating: 1845, VIP seats: 159) Master Champion BMX Flat's Tobiasz Rostow started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Vila Nova GO booed when Master Champion BMX Flat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Perivaldo Aparecido didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th minute Cafu Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolae Ceaușescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 5 minutes Master Champion BMX Flat's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cafu Branco who took care of the corner kick. Celsinho Capixaba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobiasz Rostow, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute Master Champion BMX Flat were awarded a corner. Aarne Mikkola went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Sílvio Ferraz managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 12 minutes into the game, Vágner Lago cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Celsinho Capixaba was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nicolae Ceaușescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cafu Branco in the 15th minute of the match. Horácio Corrêa charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Horácio Corrêa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 played minutes Vila Nova GO got a freekick which was hit by Horácio Corrêa. With a little luck, Vila Nova GO's Celsinho Capixaba got control of the ball when Vágner Lago tried to sneak it across the goal line. Celsinho Capixaba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tobiasz Rostow's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tobiasz Rostow got free with Celsinho Capixaba in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tobiasz Rostow in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celsinho Capixaba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Vila Nova GO's zone, Tobiasz Rostow stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celsinho Capixaba came out of the goal and Tobiasz Rostow tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Daniel Marquez came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Vila Nova GO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Marquez couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Master Champion BMX Flat getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Vágner Lago hit a great ball. Vila Nova GO's Celsinho Capixaba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Vila Nova GO from getting a goal against them. Celsinho Capixaba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobiasz Rostow, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Celsinho Capixaba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobiasz Rostow in the 41st minute of the match. Vágner Lago did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Celsinho Capixaba 43 minutes into the match. Vila Nova GO's Celsinho Capixaba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Vila Nova GO from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Marquez to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vágner Lago in the 52nd minute of play forced Vila Nova GO's goalkeeper Celsinho Capixaba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celsinho Capixaba came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Master Champion BMX Flat's Tobiasz Rostow. But to his dismay, Tobiasz Rostow quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tobiasz Rostow in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celsinho Capixaba saved Vila Nova GO from getting behind. The corner led Master Champion BMX Flat's Aarne Mikkola to fire away a dangerous shot which Celsinho Capixaba despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Vila Nova GO's João Vítor Souto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicolae Ceaușescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 65th minute Tobiasz Rostow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celsinho Capixaba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 66 played minutes Master Champion BMX Flat got a freekick which was hit by Edmund Watarz. Nicolae Ceaușescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Marquez in the 67th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Tobiasz Rostow made a precise shot to the right of Celsinho Capixaba. Vila Nova GO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Luís Guilherme Guedes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vila Nova GO's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Guilherme Guedes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolae Ceaușescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Tobiasz Rostow's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Celsinho Capixaba was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tobiasz Rostow in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celsinho Capixaba saved Vila Nova GO from getting behind. 78 minutes into the match, Tobiasz Rostow notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Vila Nova GO's Celsinho Capixaba. Celsinho Capixaba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Celsinho Capixaba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Watarz in the 81st minute of play. Nicolae Ceaușescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Vítor Souto in the 85th minute. Cafu Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Marquez got free with Nicolae Ceaușescu in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 91st minute, Perivaldo Aparecido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Master Champion BMX Flat fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vila Nova GO had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
