Honorio Efraim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimir Costa having to interfere. Marxistas's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Pedro de Amorim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vladimir Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luizão Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sport Club Mavericks's Honorio Efraim was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vladimir Costa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A nice corner shot did that Honorio Efraim got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vladimir Costa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. João Pedro de Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Pedro de Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Marcelo Gröhe made a huge save. 74 minutes into the match, Sport Club Mavericks's Honorio Efraim sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vladimir Costa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 75th minute Sport Club Mavericks were awarded a corner. Honorio Efraim went to the cornerflag to take it. Honorio Efraim made a great header on Sport Club Mavericks's corner, it was just that Marxistas's Vladimir Costa managed to reach the ball for a save. Marcos Almeida hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Sport Club Mavericks's Serginho Quirino managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mihály Zádori in the 83 minute of the game.
