Spectators: 8078 (Terracing: 6060, Seating: 1858, VIP seats: 160) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rigoberto Piearres took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Piearres in the 3rd minute of play forced The Best Ones's goalkeeper Juarês Fantini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vicente Quintal in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Luis Heidemann saved La Zorro Negro from getting behind. The supporters of The Best Ones booed when La Zorro Negro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabrício De León didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wu Xiong Xuan hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Hélio Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Zorro Negro's supporters rose to their feet, but Hélio Andrade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juarês Fantini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. José Luis Heidemann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Quintal in the 20th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, The Best Ones's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Piearres came free, but Juarês Fantini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When La Zorro Negro's Rigoberto Piearres in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye The Best Ones's goalie prevented a goal. After 25 minutes, Rigoberto Piearres made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. The Best Ones's Juarês Fantini tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Vicente Quintal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Luis Heidemann having to interfere. José Luis Heidemann made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Deivid Passos sent off a good shot on target. In the 39th minute Rigoberto Piearres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juarês Fantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute of the match, Vicente Quintal got a very nice opportunity to score, but José Luis Heidemann was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 45th play minutes Vicente Quintal shot 1-1, a short shot which went by José Luis Heidemann and just under the crossbar into goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vicente Quintal to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vicente Quintal in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Luis Heidemann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Best Ones were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after La Zorro Negro's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jean Correia took the corner. Rigoberto Piearres succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 55th playminute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcos Leão during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcos Leão hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Rigoberto Piearres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Juarês Fantini made a huge save. José Luis Heidemann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Tande in the 68th minute of play. After 74 played minutes The Best Ones got a freekick which was hit by Albertinho Ceresso. The Best Ones made a substitution. Cristóvão de Sousa replaced Vicente Quintal. Albertinho Ceresso kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Alexandre Tande might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Luis Heidemann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alexandre Tande ran back to his position shaking his head. After 79 played minutes The Best Ones got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Leão. José Luis Heidemann came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by The Best Ones's Alexandre Tande. But to his dismay, Alexandre Tande quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. José Luis Heidemann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristóvão de Sousa in the 86th minute of the match. José Luis Heidemann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristóvão de Sousa's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
