That made the score 1-0 in the 2 minute of play. Jarbas Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hortêncio Vander in the 6th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Cauã Ramos made a precise shot to the right of Jarbas Guedes. S S Palestra Italia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 12 minutes into the match, Hortêncio Vander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jarbas Guedes. S S Palestra Italia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hortêncio Vander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind S S Palestra Italia's goalkeeper Jarbas Guedes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jarbas Guedes came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Nada Pontual F.C's Hortêncio Vander. But to his dismay, Hortêncio Vander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 21st minute, Inácio Figueiredo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sam Marcos. The goal made the score 2-3. Jarbas Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hortêncio Vander in the 26th minute of the match. Jarbas Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hortêncio Vander, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Hortêncio Vander took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jarbas Guedes. Jarbas Guedes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Nada Pontual F.C's Sam Marcos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wágner Prado in the 35th minute of play. Inácio Figueiredo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Sam Marcos made a huge save. A collision led to S S Palestra Italia getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Gavino Quexal hit a great ball. Jarbas Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cauã Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute, Wágner Prado made a precise shot to the right of Sam Marcos. Nada Pontual F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 3-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hortêncio Vander to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Nestor Bernal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nada Pontual F.C's attentive Rui Donato managed to snatch the ball when Gilvan Seco made a throw-in in the 57th minute of the game. Jarbas Guedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cauã Ramos in the 61st minute of play. Carles De Ligt kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the game, Zé Roberto Moura cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-4. Sam Marcos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Richard Schmidt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Jarbas Guedes made a huge save. Jarbas Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Francisco Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. The Nada Pontual F.C fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Nada Pontual F.C's Cauã Ramos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bernabe Gomez was slow to take the kick. During this time Nada Pontual F.C's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Bernabe Gomez got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jarbas Guedes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 97th minute, Richard Schmidt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jarbas Guedes was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-7. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Nada Pontual F.C walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
