Kılıçhan Mertkal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hortêncio Vander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Nada Pontual F.C's zone, Lenílson Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sam Marcos came out of the goal and Lenílson Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute, Carles De Ligt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sam Marcos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alonzo Carrillos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Hortêncio Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 30th minute Hortêncio Vander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kılıçhan Mertkal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 played minutes The Power Guido FC got a freekick which was hit by Noel Oliveira. Kılıçhan Mertkal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hortêncio Vander in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cauã Ramos in the 36th minute of play forced The Power Guido FC's goalkeeper Kılıçhan Mertkal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hortêncio Vander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kılıçhan Mertkal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. After some careless play in the The Power Guido FC defense, Hortêncio Vander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kılıçhan Mertkal. The The Power Guido FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kılıçhan Mertkal should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cauã Ramos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Hortêncio Vander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nada Pontual F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hortêncio Vander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hortêncio Vander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Noel Oliveira in the 56th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Nada Pontual F.C's Emilio Casomiro. Hortêncio Vander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kılıçhan Mertkal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Power Guido FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bernabe Gomez was slow to take the kick. During this time Nada Pontual F.C's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Nada Pontual F.C's corner Bernabe Gomez fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kılıçhan Mertkal quite easily take care of the ball. Kılıçhan Mertkal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Francisco Martins in the 86th minute of the match. Richard Schmidt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute Cauã Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kılıçhan Mertkal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Carioca in the 90th minute of play forced Nada Pontual F.C's goalkeeper Sam Marcos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kılıçhan Mertkal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Schmidt, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Carioca in the 95th minute of play forced Nada Pontual F.C's goalkeeper Sam Marcos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nada Pontual F.C's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
