Sebastian Sandberg made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Wágner Fox sent off a good shot on target. In the 19th minute, Vinícius Paranaense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alperen Bozkurt was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 21st minute, Jataiense Futebol Clube's Horácio Gonçalves dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Wágner Fox succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 29th playminute. With a little luck, Xv de Piracicaba's Sebastian Sandberg got control of the ball when Wágner Fox tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wágner Fox blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastian Sandberg having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Vinícius Paranaense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Xv de Piracicaba's supporters rose to their feet, but Vinícius Paranaense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alperen Bozkurt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 37 minutes into the match, Xv de Piracicaba's goal looked a bit too open when Golaki Goiano came free, but Sebastian Sandberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Sandberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Golaki Goiano's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Alperen Bozkurt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Rocchi in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Golaki Goiano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebastian Sandberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfredo Rocchi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Xv de Piracicaba's Sebastian Sandberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wágner Fox in the 56th minute of play. Min Son sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kalle Biörkquist during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Xv de Piracicaba booed when Jataiense Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kalle Biörkquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ander Uibomäe in the 74th minute of play forced Jataiense Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Alperen Bozkurt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Many of Xv de Piracicaba's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Xv de Piracicaba may have spent more time on the ball, but Jataiense Futebol Clube were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
