In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's goalkeeper Pedro Luís Messias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Pedro Luís Messias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Tavares in the 8th minute of play. In the 31st minute Breno Loyola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Erik Hellström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Breno Loyola to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Délio Coutinho threw the ball into play from the sideline. In the 85th match minute, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeng Chang to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Arthur Queraria got a free kick in the 89th minute. Pedro Augusto Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luís Messias having to interfere. Pedro Luís Messias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Augusto Alves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
