To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diguinho Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Wágner Fox might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luís Eduardo Garcia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wágner Fox ran back to his position shaking his head. 26 minutes into the match, Xipoko's goal looked a bit too open when Wágner Fox came free, but Luís Eduardo Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Wágner Fox came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Jataiense Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet.
