Spectators: 7947 (Terracing: 5961, Seating: 1828, VIP seats: 158) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luiz Gustavo Garcia started the match with the kick off. In the 8th minute TEIXEIRINHA FC were awarded a corner. Anderson da Silva went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 10th minute Vito Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doni das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute of the match, Doru Pogea tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luís Eduardo Garcia saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 15 minutes Xipoko's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anderson da Silva who took care of the corner kick. In the 25th minute Luiz Gustavo Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doni das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Xipoko's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anderson da Silva was slow to take the kick. During this time TEIXEIRINHA FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind TEIXEIRINHA FC's goalkeeper Doni das Neves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by TEIXEIRINHA FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luan Luan was slow to take the kick. During this time Xipoko's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Luan Luan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Doni das Neves quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. TEIXEIRINHA FC's Resulhan Ulvi suffered a sore foot after 34 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Janusz Grondzki during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. TEIXEIRINHA FC made a substitution. Anderson Vaz replaced Resulhan Ulvi. Doru Pogea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xipoko's Luís Eduardo Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Finsberg in the 42nd minute of play. A hard shot 43 in the game by Doru Pogea from a close distance when the talented Luís Eduardo Garcia managed to make a qualified save. Xipoko's players were relieved. After 44 minutes, Aírton Abreu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TEIXEIRINHA FC and the Xipoko players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, TEIXEIRINHA FC's Aírton Abreu got a free kick in the 44th minute. Luan Luan, 45 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Xipoko's Nilton Ramalho got a free kick in the 55th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Doru Pogea in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Eduardo Garcia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luís Eduardo Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anderson Vaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Anderson Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. TEIXEIRINHA FC's Doni das Neves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save TEIXEIRINHA FC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Doru Pogea managed to get in a good position for a shot. TEIXEIRINHA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Doru Pogea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Eduardo Garcia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luís Eduardo Garcia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anderson Vaz went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, TEIXEIRINHA FC's Gilbert Pochorylo got a free kick in the 89th minute. Vito Batista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Doni das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Vito Batista left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Xipoko fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Xipoko's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
