After taking down the ball on Garopaba F.C's corner Wambasther Özil fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Válbson Sergipano quite easily take care of the ball. Rogelio Urtungo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Válbson Sergipano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Orlando da Cunha made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Ernesto Rossetti sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th minute, Dedé Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orlando da Cunha was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Zachary Terasek. The audience was convinced that Rogelio Urtungo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Válbson Sergipano was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Garopaba F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wambasther Özil in the 38th minute. Garopaba F.C's Wambasther Özil got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Orlando da Cunha made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Ernesto Rossetti sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rogelio Urtungo in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Válbson Sergipano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zachary Terasek in the 47th minute of play forced Garopaba F.C's goalkeeper Orlando da Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After a rather tough play, Mazomba SC's Ernesto Rossetti got a free kick in the 50th minute. When Rogelio Urtungo came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Garopaba F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogelio Urtungo couldn't finish the play. Dedé Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orlando da Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dénes Ábrahám, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Rogelio Urtungo struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Válbson Sergipano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garopaba F.C. A collision led to Mazomba SC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Tomé de Mendonça hit a great ball. Rogelio Urtungo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Válbson Sergipano having to make a save. When Mazomba SC's Ernesto Rossetti in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 88 minutes of play, Mazomba SC's Dénes Ábrahám made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Orlando da Cunha was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 96th minute, Dedé Correia fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Mazomba SC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Garopaba F.C for a fine match.
