After a rather tough play, Mazomba SC's Tomé de Mendonça got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute of the match Valdir Trevisan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Válbson Sergipano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

Ignacio Esparza might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Válbson Sergipano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ignacio Esparza ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 53rd minute Gabríel Fernández shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Válbson Sergipano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernesto Rossetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ignacio Esparza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Válbson Sergipano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ✠Xavier Vasco FC - FDFDF✠ fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when ✠Xavier Vasco FC - FDFDF✠'s Giuseppe Leite looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cristinel Cioculescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomé de Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Giuseppe Leite put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Válbson Sergipano.
