Válbson Sergipano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabi Orange's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Muqui FC's Best Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomé de Mendonça in the 24th minute of play. Túlio Velasco hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Mazomba SC's João Augusto Cavalcante got a free kick in the 34th minute. Válbson Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabi Orange in the 35th minute of the match. Mai Chuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mazomba SC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zachary Terasek in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabi Orange to strike the kick off in the second half. Cristian Santana hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute Gabi Orange shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Válbson Sergipano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69thth minute of the game Ernesto Rossetti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Muqui FC's Best Taffarel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Muqui FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zachary Terasek came free, but Best Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonardo Soares hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Mazomba SC made a substitution. Benê Bittencourt replaced Ernesto Rossetti. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mai Chuan got free with Válbson Sergipano in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Matheus Brodel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Muqui FC's Matheus Brodel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Best Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benê Bittencourt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute Benê Bittencourt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Best Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mazomba SC's Luís Paulo Maia suffered a concussion in the 94th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 94 minutes into the game, Mai Chuan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Muqui FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mazomba SC the free kick. Mazomba SC made a substitution. Fábio Ramos replaced Luís Paulo Maia. Mai Chuan kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Muqui FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
