Wellington Paraíba started the match with the kick off. Øyvind Gilje ran over to the corner to take the kick. 18 minutes into the game, Fernando Barros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Stanislaw Lichucki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cambaratiba's Stanislaw Lichucki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Øyvind Gilje in the 21st minute of play. Pedro Augusto Neto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wellington Paraíba went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. When Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Rafinha Massa in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cambaratiba's goalie prevented a goal. Fernando Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanislaw Lichucki having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Cambaratiba's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Barros came free, but Stanislaw Lichucki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernando Barros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cambaratiba were furious when Rodrigo Rosado was red carded, 54 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Cambaratiba:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ:s goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Raymundo in the 60th minute of play forced Cambaratiba's goalkeeper Stanislaw Lichucki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Øyvind Gilje ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stanislaw Lichucki was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. 76 minutes into the match, Cambaratiba's goal looked a bit too open when Duarte Nogueira came free, but Stanislaw Lichucki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stanislaw Lichucki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernando Barros's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute of the match, Rafinha Massa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Stanislaw Lichucki was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Wellington Paraíba struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Pedro Augusto Neto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cambaratiba. Cambaratiba made a substitution. Marin Giubelean replaced Wellington Paraíba. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marin Giubelean in the 85th minute of play forced Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's goalkeeper Pedro Augusto Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Marin Giubelean cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Pedro Augusto Neto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cambaratiba were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
