Manuel Negri scored 0-2 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Duarte de Sena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 14 minutes of play, ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™'s Agnaldo Araújo made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Duarte de Sena was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Eduardo Mandrak got free with José Paulo Romero in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. José Paulo Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Hauerholt in the 21st minute of play. Duarte de Sena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manuel Negri went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Baltazar Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte de Sena having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Elano Rezende got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Cambaratiba defense, Manuel Negri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Duarte de Sena. The Cambaratiba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Duarte de Sena should have stopped the shot. Elano Rezende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Elano Rezende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Elano Rezende left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7.

≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™'s Marcelinho Costa was substituted for Luiz Soeiro. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcus Aparecido was the one to do the kick off. Duarte de Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elano Rezende in the 54th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cambaratiba's zone, Váldson Urbano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duarte de Sena came out of the goal and Váldson Urbano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcelinho Costa scored 0-8 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Duarte de Sena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcelinho Costa's late challenge caught a Cambaratiba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Duarte de Sena was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Váldson Urbano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 73 minute of play. The supporters of Cambaratiba booed when ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luizão Proença didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Marcelinho Costa put it in 0-10 from a short distance just to the right of Duarte de Sena. Duarte de Sena yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-13.
