Granadero10's Vítor Antunes got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CRICIUMA TIGRAO FSCMZ's Diguinho Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Antunes in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rômulo de Castro in the 11th minute of play forced Granadero10's goalkeeper Alfredinho Cavalcante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fredrik Masculier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diguinho Vaz having to interfere. Diguinho Vaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vítor Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Tana Rede had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diguinho Vaz. CRICIUMA TIGRAO FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tana Rede was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Tana Rede recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute, Rômulo de Castro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredinho Cavalcante was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Tana Rede sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, Tana Rede had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diguinho Vaz. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Olavo Vidal managed to get in a good position for a shot. CRICIUMA TIGRAO FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Olavo Vidal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredinho Cavalcante breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 34 minutes into the match, CRICIUMA TIGRAO FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardinho Fonseca came free, but Diguinho Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the CRICIUMA TIGRAO FSCMZ defense, Tana Rede kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diguinho Vaz. The CRICIUMA TIGRAO FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diguinho Vaz should have stopped the shot. If Tana Rede had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diguinho Vaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredrik Masculier in the 43rd minute of play. The supporters of Granadero10 booed when CRICIUMA TIGRAO FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélio Pimenta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 minutes of play, Granadero10's Tana Rede made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diguinho Vaz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rômulo de Castro to strike the kick off in the second half. Diguinho Vaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tana Rede, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, CRICIUMA TIGRAO FSCMZ's Hermes Martins got a free kick in the 53rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tana Rede in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diguinho Vaz saved CRICIUMA TIGRAO FSCMZ from getting behind. With his leg Diguinho Vaz managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Granadero10's Fredrik Masculier fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Granadero10's Fredrik Masculier was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 57th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Fredrik Masculier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Granadero10's supporters rose to their feet, but Fredrik Masculier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diguinho Vaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 61 minutes into the match, CRICIUMA TIGRAO FSCMZ's goalkeeper Diguinho Vaz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vítor Antunes. Diguinho Vaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tana Rede's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. After 64 played minutes CRICIUMA TIGRAO FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Hermes Martins. 66 minutes into the game, Tana Rede recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Diguinho Vaz. Tana Rede showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. After a defensive mix-up in Granadero10's zone, Hermes Martins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredinho Cavalcante came out of the goal and Hermes Martins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Granadero10's Norberto Simão was substituted for Vítor Antunes. Granadero10's Alfredinho Cavalcante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rômulo de Castro in the 74th minute of play. The supporters of Granadero10 booed when CRICIUMA TIGRAO FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermes Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Rômulo de Castro came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the CRICIUMA TIGRAO FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rômulo de Castro couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, CRICIUMA TIGRAO FSCMZ's Diguinho Vaz got control of the ball when Norberto Simão tried to sneak it across the goal line. Diguinho Vaz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-8. The Granadero10 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Granadero10 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
