Bebeto Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mátyás Borbás in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cláudio Pimenta in the 18th minute of play forced ARS FUTEBOL's goalkeeper Wilian Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute Mátyás Borbás shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bebeto Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Fernando de Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilian Bueno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enéas Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 43rd minute Ulisses Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilian Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th match minute, ARS FUTEBOL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuca de Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. Wilian Bueno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Faustino Gerazan went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mátyás Borbás to strike the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the match, SALIMEN's goal looked a bit too open when Mátyás Borbás came free, but Bebeto Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Camillo Fabrizio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuca de Medeiros took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bebeto Trigo. Bebeto Trigo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. SALIMEN's İldeniz Davutoğlu was substituted for Ulisses Sabóia. The audience thought a goal was coming when İldeniz Davutoğlu got free with Wilian Bueno in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camillo Fabrizio in the 73rd minute of play forced SALIMEN's goalkeeper Bebeto Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, ARS FUTEBOL's Wilian Bueno got control of the ball when İldeniz Davutoğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line.
