In the 11thth minute of the game Fernando Barros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villas Matilde's Glauco Cearense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 13th minute Petre Spânu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Augusto Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ramon Raymundo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Glauco Cearense was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Villas Matilde's zone, Rafinha Massa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Glauco Cearense came out of the goal and Rafinha Massa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The corner led Villas Matilde's Mei Jing to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedro Augusto Neto despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Pedro Augusto Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petre Spânu in the 23rd minute of play. Pedro Augusto Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dadá Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the game, Villas Matilde's Petre Spânu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Augusto Neto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Petre Spânu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Augusto Neto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes in the game, Ramon Raymundo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Glauco Cearense having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Glauco Cearense successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the last second Glauco Cearense throw himself and got hold of the ball when Ramon Raymundo in the 32ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Pedro Augusto Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remus Iorda in the 33rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Villas Matilde's Remus Iorda got a free kick in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petre Spânu in the 48th minute of play forced Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's goalkeeper Pedro Augusto Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Petre Spânu to make the kick off. Rodolfo Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Duarte Nogueira got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Fernando Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glauco Cearense having to interfere. Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Pedro Augusto Neto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ from getting a goal against them. After 64 played minutes Villas Matilde got a freekick which was hit by Gwidon Dziatkowski. In the 64th minute of the match Øyvind Gilje sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Glauco Cearense skillfully saved the ball. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Petre Spânu put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Pedro Augusto Neto. After a rather tough play, Villas Matilde's Remus Iorda got a free kick in the 87th minute. The supporters of Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ booed when Villas Matilde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gwidon Dziatkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Øyvind Gilje recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Villas Matilde had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
