After taking down the ball on Cambaratiba's corner Yuri Zanette fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Augusto Demaria quite easily take care of the ball. Marin Giubelean could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Augusto Demaria made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magno Garcia in the 20th minute of play forced Cambaratiba's goalkeeper Stanislaw Lichucki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tormenta EC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Celso de Queirós in the 30th minute. A nice corner shot did that Celso de Queirós got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Stanislaw Lichucki quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Marin Giubelean hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lenílson Diniz during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 36 minutes into the match, Cambaratiba's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Valdivia came free, but Stanislaw Lichucki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cambaratiba's Stanislaw Lichucki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Cambaratiba from getting a goal against them. Marin Giubelean's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Augusto Demaria read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Cambaratiba made a substitution. Marcus Aparecido replaced Marin Giubelean. In the 90th minute of the match Cambaratiba got a corner. Tormenta EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Yuri Zanette ran over to the corner to take the kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Fernando Matos advanced and headed the ball into goal, 3-1 in the 90th minute. After 93 played minutes Cambaratiba got a freekick which was hit by Yuri Zanette. In the 95th match minute, Cambaratiba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diguinho Vaz to maneuver through the defense. Cambaratiba's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
