Afonso Vargas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronaldo Alcântara's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Dino Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Ferreira Lopes MZC's goalkeeper Tomé Montenegro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Amaral. Afonso Vargas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Alcântara in the 18th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dário Martins in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afonso Vargas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomé Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Mangueira in the 22nd minute of play. With a little luck, Ferreira Lopes MZC's Tomé Montenegro got control of the ball when Durval Nunes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Afonso Vargas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomé Montenegro was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Marcelo Mangueira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcelo Mangueira really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Brazil Academy's Gildo Braga couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 34th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ferreira Lopes MZC. With a little luck, Ferreira Lopes MZC's Tomé Montenegro got control of the ball when Durval Nunes tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dário Martins in the 42nd minute of play forced Brazil Academy's goalkeeper Afonso Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Ronaldo Alcântara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Afonso Vargas was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. When Ronaldo Alcântara came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Ferreira Lopes MZC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldo Alcântara couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dário Martins stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dário Martins charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dário Martins the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 51st minute, Dário Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomé Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Mangueira in the 53rd minute of the match. Tomé Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Durval Nunes in the 60th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximiliano Omar in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomé Montenegro saved Ferreira Lopes MZC from getting behind. In the 67th minute of the match Brazil Academy got a corner. Ferreira Lopes MZC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gildo Braga ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 77th minute, Dário Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomé Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Mangueira in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Brazil Academy's Dino Senna got a free kick in the 81st minute. Dedé Paiva, 82 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Tomé Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Amaral in the 89th minute of the match. Tomé Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Omar, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Ferreira Lopes MZC's Tomé Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Amaral in the 95th minute of play. The Ferreira Lopes MZC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Brazil Academy from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
