Izaltina FAD's Matías Mendes got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 14 minutes into the game, Abelardo de Barros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Izaltina FAD the free kick. The supporters of Izaltina FAD booed when UMBRELLA CORPORATION™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Benito Lain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute Well-Well Waack shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wanderson Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matías Mendes came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wanderson Freire could save by the left post. Manuel Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jos Verduin, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute Tomás Rosado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s Wanderson Freire got control of the ball when William Angelsø tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jos Verduin in the 38th minute of play forced Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper Manuel Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s Wanderson Freire got control of the ball when Matías Mendes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Manuel Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo de Barros in the 42nd minute of play. Dráuzio Monteiro charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dráuzio Monteiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s Dráuzio Monteiro got a free kick in the 43rd minute. A collision led to Izaltina FAD getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Leo Salvino hit a great ball. Manuel Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jos Verduin in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

But to his dismay, Well-Well Waack quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matías Mendes in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wanderson Freire prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Manuel Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo de Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 78 minutes into the match, UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s goal looked a bit too open when Well-Well Waack came free, but Wanderson Freire reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Well-Well Waack had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Izaltina FAD made a substitution. William Angelsø was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After some careless play in the UMBRELLA CORPORATION™ defense, Matías Mendes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wanderson Freire. The UMBRELLA CORPORATION™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wanderson Freire should have stopped the shot. Izaltina FAD's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
