Thanks to some nice moves Gino Moreira could shoot a difficult shot in the 18th minute, which Aitor España however easily saved by the left post. 22 minutes into the match, Porvir FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Gaúcho came free, but João Augusto Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 played minutes AllRaf EC got a freekick which was hit by Arnulfo Valencia. João Augusto Soeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Gaúcho, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 31st minute, Nuno Gaúcho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th minute Gino Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aitor España saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute of the match AllRaf EC got a corner. Porvir FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arnulfo Valencia ran over to the corner to take the kick. Froilan Harri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. João Augusto Soeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nuno Gaúcho was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of AllRaf EC booed when Porvir FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Smith didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner led Porvir FC's Rodrigo Quirino to fire away a dangerous shot which Aitor España despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Aitor España took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gino Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the match, Porvir FC's goalkeeper João Augusto Soeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nuno Gaúcho. When Bennvar Björnfot fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AllRaf EC's protests and gave Bennvar Björnfot a yellow card for diving instead. Porvir FC's Mané Vasconcelos was substituted for Antonio Smith. In the 77th minute, Bennvar Björnfot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Porvir FC's Mané Vasconcelos got a free kick in the 78th minute.
