With his leg Lars Batzer managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Fluminense DF's Prudencio Goiz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Prudencio Goiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Lars Batzer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 29 played minutes Fluminense DF got a freekick which was hit by Oğuzcan Halıcı. Carlisle Schultz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lubomír Meszároš went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If Osvaldo Furlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th match minute, Fluminense DF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aslan Raci to maneuver through the defense. Fluminense DF's Carlisle Schultz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lubomír Meszároš in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lubomír Meszároš to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Caio Travassos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MALAIA FDFDF's Lars Batzer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 58 minutes into the match, MALAIA FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Furlan came free, but Lars Batzer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caio Travassos in the 60th minute of play forced MALAIA FDFDF's goalkeeper Lars Batzer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fluminense DF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
