Wilson Andrade blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lars Batzer having to make a save. In the 7th minute Wilson Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Batzer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. César Souto scored 1-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lars Batzer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lubomír Meszároš hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Thomas Ravelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lubomír Meszároš in the 15th minute of play. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Wilson Andrade sped through MALAIA FDFDF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lars Batzer. Lubomír Meszároš hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Wilson Andrade's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lars Batzer was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Wilson Andrade might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lars Batzer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wilson Andrade ran back to his position shaking his head. Wilson Andrade struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Lars Batzer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GLADIADORES. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilson Andrade got free with Lars Batzer in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lars Batzer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilson Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lars Batzer was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wilson Andrade showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 47 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lubomír Meszároš was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Vitinho Pontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilson Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Batzer having to interfere. The supporters of MALAIA FDFDF booed when GLADIADORES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilson Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lars Batzer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilson Andrade in the 66th minute of play. Romildo Binder received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Thomas Ravelli came out and tried to block the shot, but Romildo Binder slotted it home off the left post making it 5-1 in the 72nd minute. A collision led to MALAIA FDFDF getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Giovani Neto hit a great ball. When Johannes Stein came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the GLADIADORES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johannes Stein couldn't finish the play. Thomas Ravelli made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Edgar Tasso sent off a good shot on target. César Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. GLADIADORES's Anacleto Rozarius pulled a muscle in his back after 92 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 92 minutes of play MALAIA FDFDF's Giovani Neto was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. GLADIADORES made a substitution. Deilmison Robben replaced Anacleto Rozarius. In the 96th minute GLADIADORES were awarded a corner. Johannes Stein went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Johannes Stein almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MALAIA FDFDF's Lars Batzer did a great save.
