Cléber Dias in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alfredo Teles, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 15th minute, EGPS's Aylal Souza dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. With an all-out effort, EGPS's Alfredo Teles threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aylal Souza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, C.R Perhaps's Alfredo Teles got control of the ball when Sandrinho Vinhas tried to sneak it across the goal line. C.R Perhaps's Alfredo Teles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save C.R Perhaps from getting a goal against them. Cléber Dias succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 27th playminute. The supporters of EGPS booed when C.R Perhaps was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Maranhense didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cléber Dias was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Cléber Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Teles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Aylal Souza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. EGPS's Igor Vergílio got his second yellow card of the match in the 87th minute. The referee ordered Igor Vergílio off the ground. In the 88th match minute, EGPS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Vergílio to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 92 minutes, Bruno Ribeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.R Perhaps's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Ribeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfredo Teles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandrinho Vinhas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. EGPS fully deserved thier win.
