Spectators: 8074 (Terracing: 6057, Seating: 1857, VIP seats: 160) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Luís Fernando Vides made the kick off which started today's match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvin Thedin got free with Dalmo Saldanha in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 8th minute, Álvaro Gaspar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VARGINHA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Dito Novaes came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Jaru-Uaru's Nicasio Abreu. But to his dismay, Nicasio Abreu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Dalmo Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josué Paiva in the 16th minute of the match. Jaru-Uaru's Dalmo Saldanha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Jaru-Uaru from getting a goal against them. In the 21st minute Nicasio Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dito Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Josué Paiva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dalmo Saldanha was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Josué Paiva put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dalmo Saldanha. In the 28th minute, one of VARGINHA FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for VARGINHA FC. Dito Novaes had in the 30thth minute some difficulties stopping Nicasio Abreu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Dito Novaes came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Jaru-Uaru's Nicasio Abreu. But to his dismay, Nicasio Abreu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Dalmo Saldanha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvin Thedin in the 33rd minute. Dito Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fernando Vides in the 38th minute of play. After 40 played minutes Jaru-Uaru got a freekick which was hit by Mo Ning De. Alvin Thedin, 40 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 41st minute, Otávio Netto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute Wincenty Gendolla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dito Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Josué Paiva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dalmo Saldanha. Jaru-Uaru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Josué Paiva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Josué Paiva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Luís Fernando Vides made a precise shot to the right of Dito Novaes. VARGINHA FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. Dalmo Saldanha came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by VARGINHA FC's Josué Paiva. But to his dismay, Josué Paiva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. Dito Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fernando Vides in the 69th minute of play. Dalmo Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josué Paiva in the 71st minute of play. Dalmo Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvin Thedin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Gaufred in the 78th minute of play forced Jaru-Uaru's goalkeeper Dalmo Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dito Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fernando Vides in the 81st minute of play. Luís Fernando Vides could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Dito Novaes made a huge save. 86 minutes into the match, Jaru-Uaru's goal looked a bit too open when Josué Paiva came free, but Dalmo Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mo Ning De hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. The supporters of VARGINHA FC booed when Jaru-Uaru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mo Ning De didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaru-Uaru's Dalmo Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josué Paiva in the 93rd minute of play. The corner led VARGINHA FC's Alvin Thedin to fire away a dangerous shot which Dalmo Saldanha despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
