After a defensive mix-up in EGPS's zone, Edin Džeko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anastasio Sol came out of the goal and Edin Džeko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11thth minute of the game Edin Džeko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EGPS's Anastasio Sol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anastasio Sol made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Mario Cristofor sent off a good shot on target. In the 14th minute, Edin Džeko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st minute Aylal Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grzegorz Siekierski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grzegorz Siekierski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aylal Souza in the 21st minute of play. GeRaÇãO-83's Grzegorz Siekierski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aylal Souza in the 22nd minute of play. After 23 played minutes EGPS got a freekick which was hit by Rafinha Alagoano. EGPS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Edin Džeko scored to the left of an out of position Anastasio Sol, making the score, 1-0. In the 28th minute Edin Džeko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Sol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anastasio Sol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edin Džeko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aylal Souza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Grzegorz Siekierski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Per-Oskar Ekgren went to the cornerflag to take it. When Edin Džeko came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the GeRaÇãO-83 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edin Džeko couldn't finish the play. After 64 minutes of play, GeRaÇãO-83's Edin Džeko made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anastasio Sol was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rafinha Alagoano's late challenge caught a GeRaÇãO-83's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafinha Alagoano helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of GeRaÇãO-83 booed when EGPS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafinha Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anastasio Sol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edin Džeko in the 68th minute of play. In the 74th minute Edin Džeko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Sol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Edin Džeko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anastasio Sol. EGPS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edin Džeko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The GeRaÇãO-83 fans cheered their team off the field, for while EGPS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
