Dalmo Saldanha came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by EGPS's Cléber Dias. But to his dismay, Cléber Dias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 5 played minutes Jaru-Uaru got a freekick which was hit by Thiago Cardoso. Dalmo Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cléber Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Koppány Selymes struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Anastasio Sol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jaru-Uaru. Dalmo Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cléber Dias in the 9th minute of play. When Jaru-Uaru's Luís Fernando Vides in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Luís Fernando Vides could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Anastasio Sol made a huge save. The supporters of EGPS booed when Jaru-Uaru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Koppány Selymes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute Cléber Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Jaru-Uaru's goal looked a bit too open when Sandrinho Vinhas came free, but Dalmo Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mo Ning De hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aylal Souza in the 29th minute of play forced Jaru-Uaru's goalkeeper Dalmo Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anastasio Sol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fernando Vides in the 30th minute of play. After some careless play in the Jaru-Uaru defense, Cléber Dias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dalmo Saldanha. The Jaru-Uaru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dalmo Saldanha should have stopped the shot. Jaru-Uaru's Dalmo Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cléber Dias in the 36th minute of play. Narciso Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Sol having to interfere. EGPS's Anastasio Sol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicasio Abreu in the 40th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 42 minutes into the game, when Remo Prestes put in a rough tackle. Nicasio Abreu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Anastasio Sol when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Narciso Mendes made a kick off. When Jaru-Uaru's Narciso Mendes in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye EGPS's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, EGPS's Marcelo da Rocha got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the game, one of EGPS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Anastasio Sol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koppány Selymes in the 69th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Narciso Mendes in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anastasio Sol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Abreu in the 75th minute of play forced EGPS's goalkeeper Anastasio Sol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Jaru-Uaru fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Jaru-Uaru's Narciso Mendes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Koppány Selymes might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anastasio Sol. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Koppány Selymes ran back to his position shaking his head. 83 minutes into the match, Jaru-Uaru's goalkeeper Dalmo Saldanha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Konrad Dziura. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Narciso Mendes in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anastasio Sol saved EGPS from getting behind. Anastasio Sol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Abreu in the 88th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, EGPS's goal looked a bit too open when Koppány Selymes came free, but Anastasio Sol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of EGPS booed when Jaru-Uaru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wincenty Gendolla didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Jaru-Uaru's Thiago Cardoso got a free kick in the 95th minute. Sandrinho Vinhas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Dalmo Saldanha made a huge save. Nicasio Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Anastasio Sol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The EGPS players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
