When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Tato Vega sped through EGPS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anastasio Sol. 16 minutes into the game, Sandrinho Vinhas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sandro Tepedino. Sandrinho Vinhas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. In the 19th minute, Aylal Souza made a precise shot to the right of Sandro Tepedino. Que se abra o mar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Tato Vega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Anastasio Sol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 37 minutes of play, EGPS's Cléber Dias made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sandro Tepedino was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 40 minutes, Lando Norin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Que se abra o mar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lando Norin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sandrinho Vinhas during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 44 played minutes EGPS got a freekick which was hit by Sandrinho Vinhas. In the 46th minute Aylal Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Tepedino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tato Vega to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, EGPS's Anastasio Sol got control of the ball when Loco Orange tried to sneak it across the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Que se abra o mar's goal looked a bit too open when Sandrinho Vinhas came free, but Sandro Tepedino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandro Tepedino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandrinho Vinhas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anastasio Sol was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Loco Orange capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Loco Orange really showed his touch with that goal: 3-5. If Tommy Van Elsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Tommy Van Elsen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anastasio Sol. That made the score 3-6 in the 93 minute of play. After 96th play minutes Loco Orange shot 3-7, a short shot which went by Anastasio Sol and just under the crossbar into goal. Que se abra o mar's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
