In the 13th minute of the match, Cristian Montenegro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Otávio Sanches saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Cristian Montenegro fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Calangos do Cerrado-DF's protests and gave Cristian Montenegro a yellow card for diving instead. Artur Nogueira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Otávio Sanches read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. With a little luck, Slavo FC's Otávio Sanches got control of the ball when Rogério Arce tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiliam Figueiredo in the 37th minute of play forced Calangos do Cerrado-DF's goalkeeper Pedro Paulo Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Paulo Vieira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wiliam Figueiredo went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dominik Mnich got free with Pedro Paulo Vieira in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 56 minutes Calangos do Cerrado-DF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dominik Mnich who took care of the corner kick.
