The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. But to his dismay, Milosz Juszkowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Milosz Juszkowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luizão Vargas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. 21 minutes in the game Otávio Duarte did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Gilson Viana. After having played for 23 minutes, Armando Eliazar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caveira FC Rondoniense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Eliazar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Caveira FC Rondoniense's Luizão Vargas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milosz Juszkowski in the 24th minute of play. Luizão Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milosz Juszkowski in the 26th minute of play. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Milosz Juszkowski sped through Caveira FC Rondoniense's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luizão Vargas. In the 30thth minute of the game Milosz Juszkowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caveira FC Rondoniense's Luizão Vargas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luizão Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Peio in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute Milosz Juszkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luizão Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Palmiro Gueifão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christoffel Vinck's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Luizão Vargas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milosz Juszkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Laranjense were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after Caveira FC Rondoniense's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alfredinho Cabral took the corner. The corner ended in Alfredinho Cabral almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Caveira FC Rondoniense's Luizão Vargas did a great save.

The wind increased when Armando Eliazar made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milosz Juszkowski in the 52nd minute of play forced Caveira FC Rondoniense's goalkeeper Luizão Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luizão Vargas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Peio in the 67th minute of the match. The supporters of Laranjense booed when Caveira FC Rondoniense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilson Viana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Palmiro Gueifão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoffel Vinck in the 95th minute of play. When the match was over Laranjense could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Caveira FC Rondoniense throughout the match.
