A nice corner shot did that Armando Eliazar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lázár Erdélyi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Panait Dulca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lázár Erdélyi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Armando Eliazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázár Erdélyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Jean Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Armando Eliazar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caveira FC Rondoniense's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Eliazar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lázár Erdélyi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Yan Amaral got free with Lázár Erdélyi in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Jean Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Caveira FC Rondoniense's Christoffel Vinck ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lázár Erdélyi. Lázár Erdélyi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. 78 minutes into the match, Se7e's goal looked a bit too open when Christoffel Vinck came free, but Lázár Erdélyi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panait Dulca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Lázár Erdélyi made a huge save. In the 91st minute, José Pedro Ribeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Caveira FC Rondoniense eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
