When Esperança FC's Luís de Moraes in 36 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Iwan Banaszak guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 44th minute Zebastian Hurtig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiano Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís de Moraes made a kick off. Esperança FC's Fabiano Saldanha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Esperança FC from getting a goal against them. When Roberto Dinamite came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the £øs ρєłαdєirøs ®™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roberto Dinamite couldn't finish the play.
