Xurupita FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FEARP FC the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vivaldo Guerra in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustavo Coelho saved Xurupita FC from getting behind. With a little luck, FEARP FC's Valério Donatello got control of the ball when Célio Maranhense tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valério Donatello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emerson Jacaré, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Xurupita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vivaldo Guerra came free, but Gustavo Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valério Donatello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lilian Vântu in the 87th minute of the match. After 93 minutes, Dito Mineiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FEARP FC and the Xurupita FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FEARP FC's Dito Mineiro got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The Xurupita FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Xurupita FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
