Fiori Mota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofil Gorzkiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Vladimir Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Teofil Gorzkiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fiori Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofil Gorzkiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Luca Postelnicescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cléber Basso struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Ferdinand Joldea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vila Nova FC. Wanderson Lira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Fiori Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teofil Gorzkiewicz in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fiori Mota saved Vila Nova FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir Lara in the 35th minute of play forced TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Ferdinand Joldea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferdinand Joldea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimir Lara in the 35th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Vila Nova FC's Guilherme de Carvalho got a free kick in the 36th minute. Vila Nova FC were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luca Postelnicescu took the corner. The corner ended in Cléber Pinho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Ferdinand Joldea did a great save. TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s attentive Wanderson Lira managed to snatch the ball when Cléber Pinho made a throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game. Ferdinand Joldea came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Vila Nova FC's Mete Nared. But to his dismay, Mete Nared quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The TIMETER EC -DMZ- players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vila Nova FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teofil Gorzkiewicz to make the kick off. TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Ferdinand Joldea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save TIMETER EC -DMZ- from getting a goal against them. Ferdinand Joldea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vladimir Lara's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute, Teofil Gorzkiewicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. TIMETER EC -DMZ- made a substitution. Maximino Bidari replaced Guilherme Félix. 69 minutes into the game, Diogo Faria cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Fiori Mota was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 71 played minutes TIMETER EC -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by Yang Sang Qian. After having played for 73 minutes, Mete Nared managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vila Nova FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mete Nared was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Diogo Faria took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fiori Mota. Fiori Mota dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. A collision led to TIMETER EC -DMZ- getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Mel Speerschneider hit a great ball. TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Ferdinand Joldea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cléber Basso in the 84th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mete Nared got free with Ferdinand Joldea in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vila Nova FC's Luca Postelnicescu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ferdinand Joldea in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Vila Nova FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
