Dolfo Burgo came out and tried to block the shot, but Vito Leite slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Cöpacabana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bedrettin Özguven came free, but Dagoberto Loureiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Harald Boman in the 26th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Benjamim Maia. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bedrettin Özguven in the 30th minute of play forced Cöpacabana FC's goalkeeper Dagoberto Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bedrettin Özguven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dolfo Burgo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vito Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bedrettin Özguven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dagoberto Loureiro having to interfere. Fabrício Berger charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabrício Berger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fabrício Berger hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dobromir Brudnicki to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dobromir Brudnicki in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dolfo Burgo saved Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® from getting behind. If Bedrettin Özguven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 62nd match minute, Cöpacabana FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquín Gonzalez Del Solar to maneuver through the defense. Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® made a substitution. Dedê Moura replaced Mattæus Landsiggaard. Cöpacabana FC made a substitution. Stig-Åke Benet replaced Vito Leite. Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Talha İstanbul ran over to the corner to take the kick. The Cöpacabana FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
