The Palestra do Interior fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Allan Varela should have stopped the shot. Allan Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorio Pabla, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 21st minute, 韩默克 reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pancracio Paniagua. The goal made the score 1-1. The wind increased when 韩默克 made the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes POPULAR F.C got a freekick which was hit by Victorio Pabla. POPULAR F.C made a substitution. Mei Xun Jun replaced Léo Gonçalves. Vitório Lago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pancracio Paniagua having to interfere. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in POPULAR F.C reached it. Clarke Brooks could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Allan Varela made a huge save. Pancracio Paniagua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitório Lago in the 74th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mei Xun Jun in the 77th minute of play forced Palestra do Interior's goalkeeper Allan Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 played minutes POPULAR F.C got a freekick which was hit by Moisés Matorin. The supporters of POPULAR F.C booed when Palestra do Interior was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niclas Danielsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moisés Matorin hit a great ball. Palestra do Interior's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
