Umberto Cunha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 19 minutes Pégasus F. C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tao Xing Yong who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Tao Xing Yong almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pégasus F. C.'s Umberto Cunha did a great save. In the 23rd minute, Ernesto Fontes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Umberto Cunha was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Umberto Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heleno de Freitas in the 26th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Heleno de Freitas put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Umberto Cunha. If Heleno de Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paul Christini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xande Sharkin in the 38th minute. Paul Christini was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Xande Sharkin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 39 minute of play. C.'s Umberto Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heleno de Freitas in the 83rd minute of play.
