Caxias do Sul's Aurelio Walme. Aurelio Walme was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovani Medeiros in the 17th minute of play forced Lindner F.C's goalkeeper Matheus Munhoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurelio Walme came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Lindner F.C's Jeremias Salles. In the 23rd minute Harald Keane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Walme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lindner F.C's Matheus Munhoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breno Vergílio in the 28th minute of play. When S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Geovani Medeiros in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aurelio Walme firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lindner F.C's goalkeeper Matheus Munhoz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lei Feng Yan in the 43rd minute. Matheus Munhoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lei Feng Yan in the 44th minute of play. In the 46thth minute of the game Lei Feng Yan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lindner F.C's Matheus Munhoz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Jeremias Salles made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmo Dracena in the 52nd minute of play forced S.E.R. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Matheus Munhoz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 85th minute, which inside left pole to 3-2. Matheus Munhoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovani Medeiros in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute S.E.R. Caxias do Sul were awarded a corner. Lei Feng Yan went to the cornerflag to take it. After having played for 91 minutes, Jeremias Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lindner F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremias Salles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Lindner F.C's Jeremias Salles in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goalie prevented a goal. Lindner F.C walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
