But to his dismay, Roneixon Siqueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. With a little luck, Espigão Steamrollers's Gonçalo de Medeiros got control of the ball when Johan Neeskens tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gino Tonić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roneixon Siqueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by New Miran FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Oswaldo Nascimento was slow to take the kick. During this time Espigão Steamrollers's players had a chance to rest. Álvaro Duarte made in the 63rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Elce Teleagă. Espigão Steamrollers's Roneixon Siqueira got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
