In the 5th minute, Gustavo Sergipano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zhuo Yan Chao was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 12th minute Celso Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Carioca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celso Cruz in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Carioca saved IGUIPORÃ FC from getting behind. After 16 minutes, Celso Cruz made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. IGUIPORÃ FC's Carlos Carioca tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Celso Cruz took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Carlos Carioca to make any attempt to save it. Carlos Carioca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celso Cruz in the 24th minute. Carlos Carioca came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's Arturo Turner. But to his dismay, Arturo Turner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Gabby Batistuta hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Carlos Carioca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celso Cruz in the 30th minute. Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's Zhuo Yan Chao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Sergipano in the 36th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celso Cruz was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the IGUIPORÃ FC defense, Arturo Turner kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Carioca. The IGUIPORÃ FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Carioca should have stopped the shot. In the 57th minute, Marco Rincón hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arturo Turner's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Carioca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Carlos Carioca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Celso Cruz went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's Zhuo Yan Chao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Adolfo Goiano in the 66th minute of play. Zhuo Yan Chao stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Adolfo Goiano's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Carlos Carioca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Cruz in the 72nd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Zhuo Yan Chao successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 74th minute, Albert Sparnaaij hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF made a substitution. Geovanni Mesquita replaced Celso Cruz. Carlos Carioca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lauro Leite in the 79th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's goalkeeper Zhuo Yan Chao had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Paulo Chaves. He Shi Yu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. IGUIPORÃ FC's Jairo de Mendonça was substituted for Adriano Alagoano. Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's Leopoldo do Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. IGUIPORÃ FC's Carlos Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Turner in the 94th minute of play. Zhuo Yan Chao made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Eric Hjortsberg sent off a good shot on target. Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of IGUIPORÃ FC for a fine match.
